Pass the Poem: Spring

Climbing into the warm sun’s rays
searching for its warm embrace
Drooping tendrils becoming vibrant green,
all these exotic things to be seen

Vibrant sounds of soft crushing pines,
The rain hitting the windowpane
The soft dew beneath one's feet in the morn'
the ever-shifting breeze blowing thoughts into daydreams

Buds bursting forth after long slumber
hide their faces from the world no longer
Dazzling in their colored shrouds
They sing with joy to the parting clouds.

Rising flowers watch the sun make love to heaven
and spread their joy through song
that betwixt the earth and sky sings forever on
And mingles with the notes of the returning birds.

The children run and play in the open air,
Bees emerge from their combs, long after winter's wear,

A symphony of sounds as rain bruises earth,
And lighting flashes,
Awakening blooms once again.

Life in all its vibrancy unfurls like honey,
vibrant azure that burns my eyes with love.
Love that makes the heart flutter with wonder
at the amazing majesty awakening all around.

Sakura blossoms a tentative life, pink petals of pure beauty
Lift their musical elegance into the fresh sprung wind
Sun-kissed petals joining in the symphony of life
Playing in the breeze, we mistake them for butterflies.
and dance around to catch them

We are the ones who breathe in the fever of the changing season,
Washing in the rebirth of the land
Bathing in the streams of life bursting forth
Pushing our breath music into the air
Until there is no difference between us.
